The role focuses on small to medium maintenance jobs, preventative maintenance, and timely response to repair needs to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and presentable. Primary Responsibilities Complete day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks across commercial and residential properties Address maintenance requests in a timely manner Perform general repairs, including: Basic plumbing (leaks, clogs, fixture replacement) Basic electrical (switches, outlets, lighting) Carpentry, drywall repair, and painting Doors, locks, and hardware repairs Minor appliance repairs and troubleshooting Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain exterior areas as needed (minor landscaping, pressure washing, general upkeep) Identify issues requiring outside contractors and report them to management Follow safety procedures and applicable codes Maintain basic records of work completed and materials used Skills & Experience General maintenance or handyman experience Working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Ability to work independently across multiple locations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and ladder use Work Scope Multiple property types (restaurants, motel, residential) Mix of indoor and outdoor work May include occasional after-hours or urgent repairs as needed
