Job Description

We are proud of our buildings and grounds. Join our team in maintenance and help ensure our facilities are in good repair. A Day in the Life Perform 120 volt electrical repairs at all buildings and grounds facilities Minor plumbing repairs at all buildings to keep plumbing operational Repair of doors, walls, and cabinetry at all buildings Repair outdoor and kitchen equipment so that the equipment remains operational Maintains own hand tools so they are available for use Assist with snow removal as necessary Follow district policies and safety regulations Performs other duties as assigned in order to ensure a well maintained clean, orderly, and safe environment Successful Candidates Pass a background check Are experienced in using hand and power tools. Ability to perform repairs using a welder Have electrical knowledge Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Have basic computer skills Work well with others Can lift heavy items and work in extreme weather Can spend 10% of their day sitting, 50% walking, and 40% standing - Time is spent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using finger dexterity Maintain regular and acceptable attendance/punctuality working 40 hours per week What's in it for you Full-time hours, year round Competitive hourly pay rate Benefits including health coverage (subsidized), dental, vision, life insurance and others Paid holidays, sick time, and vacation days KPERS retirement A positive and hardworking team experience
