Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, including cutting, packaging, and clamping machines. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems, as well as repair and replace motors, pumps, bearings, belts, sensors, valves, and other components. You will assist with equipment setup, adjustments, changeovers, and improvements, operate production equipment, and help with manufacturing, processing, and packaging tasks. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems. Repair and replace motors, pumps, bearings, belts, sensors, valves, and other components. Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, changeovers, and improvements. Operate production equipment and assist with manufacturing, processing, and packaging. Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Maintenance technician Electrical Mechanical Hydraulics Pneumatics Preventive maintenance Repair Additional Skills & Qualifications 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with testing and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical aspects of the machines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
