Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at an aluminum extrusion plant. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to support efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on extrusion machinery, conveyors, presses, and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems promptly to ensure continuous production flow. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance procedures. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably within an aluminum extrusion plant or similar environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting and repairs. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety standards and procedures. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in maintenance or related fields are preferred. Pay:
$22.00 - $38.00 per hour
