Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment in good working condition, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of machines. Main Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. Respond to machine breakdowns and restore equipment as quickly as possible. Carry out inspections and identify potential equipment issues. Perform equipment adjustments, repairs, and component replacements. Support the installation, commissioning, and modification of machines. Complete maintenance work orders and report maintenance activities. Ensure proper use and availability of maintenance tools and spare parts. Apply safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements. Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams. Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability activities. Support 5S, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving activities. Required Qualifications Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams. Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation is an advantage. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in shifts when required.
