Job description: Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking multiple 2nd and 3rd shift Electrical Technicians to work in the Dayton, Oh area. This is with a very strong and growing manufacturer. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to support electrical systems, equipment, and automated machinery within our automotive manufacturing/assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced automotive environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in automotive production equipment. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, HMIs, robotics, and automated assembly lines. Diagnose electrical faults in machinery, conveyors, welding equipment, and robotic cells. Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Support commissioning and installation of new production equipment. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with mechanical technicians, engineers, and production teams to resolve equipment issues. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability. Required Qualifications Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley). Experience with motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, and control panels. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics. Familiarity with robotics and automated systems. Understanding of industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment. Certification in electrical systems or industrial maintenance. Knowledge of robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB). Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
