Our team thrives on collaboration, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence. ____________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the manufacturing facility by performing routine and emergency repairs on equipment and fixtures. This role involves conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and replacing parts to minimize production downtime. Additionally, the technician will be involved in, building, and installing machinery to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing facility, requiring a blend of mechanical skills and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks on all manufacturing machinery and welding fixtures.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical breakdowns to identify necessary repairs.
Equipment Repairs:
Perform emergency and scheduled repairs, including replacing worn parts and coordinating with external contractors when required.
Building & Installation:
Build, assemble, program, and test new machinery. Build custom fixtures or modify existing equipment to improve production processes.
Facilities Maintenance:
Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
Manufacturing Support:
Assist with production tasks and other miscellaneous projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge. Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting is highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
