This role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on fire apparatus, repairing machinery as needed, and assembly of new units . The Maintenance Mechanic is entrusted with diagnosis and repair of various fire apparatus platforms, including class 6 and class 8 vehicles. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction. Perform customer service duties by addressing internal or external client needs related to equipment maintenance. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Assist in the assembly of new equipment and test operational capabilities. Experience 2 years proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role involving equipment repair and maintenance. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet production deadlines. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to maintenance work. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
