The Floor Technician will be responsible for general floor maintenance, including scrubbing, waxing, deep carpet cleaning, and ensuring compliance with the client's specific requirements at each location.

Monday to Friday, 5:00p.m to 10:00p.m.

Pay:

$16.00-$18.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Responsibilities Clean, maintain, and restore floors in accordance with company and client standards Perform floor care procedures: shampooing, extraction, stripping, waxing, buffing, and mopping Safely operate and maintain floor care equipment and chemical cleaners Report repair needs or safety hazards to management promptly Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access floor areas Collect and dispose of trash from work areas; keep common spaces tidy Maintain floor care tools and equipment in good working condition Assist with seasonal tasks (e.g., snow removal, outdoor walkway maintenance) as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients to ensure smooth operations Follow all company safety, compliance, and quality standards Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in professional floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing, mopping, scrubbing) No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required Physical Demands and Work Environment Constantly required to stand and walk. Continuous use of hands and fingers to operate equipment. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crawling. Regularly required to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 lbs. Frequent exposure to humidity, chemicals, and loud noise. Operation of specialized equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, strippers, waxers, and carpet cleaners.
