Support the mission. $5,000 sign-on bonus + $5,000 retention bonus after 12 months A defense and marine equipment company is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to service mission-critical equipment at shipboard, military, industrial, and customer sites worldwide. Marine diesel engine experience and PLC controls experience are required. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technician who can diagnose complex problems, guide other technicians, and work directly with customers in the field. What you'll do Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul large marine diesel engines and related equipment. Diagnose PLC-controlled systems, electrical controls, and electronic engine controls. Lead field service assignments and mentor less-experienced technicians. Work on equipment that may include cranes, davits, elevators, weapons elevators, roll-up doors, and pneumatic systems. Communicate with customers and engineering teams, provide equipment training, and complete accurate service documentation. Travel is up to 75% , domestically and internationally. Assignments may involve shipboard work, confined spaces, heights, extreme temperatures, and active industrial equipment. What you bring

Required:

hands-on marine diesel engine service experience.

Required:

experience troubleshooting PLC controls. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. Experience working independently in field service and leading or mentoring other technicians. Clear communication skills and confidence working with military, government, and other customer personnel. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Trade school, military, marine, heavy-equipment, and related field-service backgrounds are welcome. Senior-level experience servicing and overhauling large diesel engines is especially valuable.
