In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service diesel engines, construction machinery, farm equipment, and industrial vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly, supporting construction projects, agricultural activities, and industrial operations with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and construction machinery to ensure they meet safety standards. Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs. Troubleshoot equipment issues through detailed inspections and testing procedures; identify root causes efficiently to minimize downtime. Service and repair farm machinery and industrial equipment while adhering to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications for quality assurance. Perform tire services, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, alignment checks, HVAC repairs, and electrical diagnostics to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics with a focus on construction machinery maintenance. Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and air brake systems. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; capable of using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repairs. Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues; familiar with OEM manuals. Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, farm machinery, or similar industrial equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients. Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing maintenance tasks in various environmental conditions; committed to safety protocols at all times.
