Job Description

You've spent years in the field diagnosing machines that others couldn't fix. You're comfortable walking into a customer's facility, owning the problem, and leaving having earned their trust. TARUS builds CNC machines — and we need someone ready to be the expert on day one. This is a senior, independent role. You'll lead the resolution of complex technical issues, serve as a resource for the broader service team, and represent TARUS as a trusted advisor to our customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Independently diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and CNC controls issues at customer sites Lead on-site service visits with minimal supervision Perform advanced troubleshooting on CNC control systems including Siemens 840D / SINUMERIK ONE and Heidenhain platforms Perform and review preventative maintenance programs for key accounts Document service work thoroughly and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base Represent TARUS as a trusted technical advisor to customers TRAVEL Up to 25% domestic and occasional international travel. Some overnight travel required based on customer location and workload.
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of field service experience on CNC machines or precision industrial equipment Deep mechanical and electrical diagnostic ability Hands-on experience with CNC control systems; Siemens 840D / SINUMERIK ONE or Heidenhain strongly preferred Proven ability to work independently at customer sites Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics at a diagnostic level Strong written documentation and professional communication skills Valid driver's license (Enhanced License a plus); legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship

Pay:
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour
