Midwest Mold Removal LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Lead Water Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Imperial, MO and become a vital force in restoring properties and lives affected by water ,fire, mold and other environmental damages. Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise water damage restoration projects from initial assessment through completion Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment Set up and monitor dehumidifiers, air movers, and drying systems to ensure proper drying protocols Conduct mold inspections and cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore properties to pre-loss condition Document job progress, moisture readings, and equipment placement for accurate reporting Communicate professionally with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cleaning, demolition, mold remediation and construction tasks
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in water damage restoration; fire restoration and mold remediation, air duct cleaning, and biohazard cleanup or a related field
IICRC WRT
(Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew on active job sites Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various restoration equipment safely Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response shifts Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and customer-first attitude Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods
