Your work will include:
Installing and commissioning electrical control systems Troubleshooting PLC, HMI, pneumatic, and electronic engine control systems Diagnosing electrical and controls failures using advanced diagnostic equipment Programming and supporting Allen Bradley PLC and HMI systems Performing system testing and operational verification Completing detailed service documentation and technical reports Communicating directly with customers while maintaining exceptional professionalism Supporting occasional shop activities including assembly, inspections, and machining as needed Required Qualifications (Must Meet These Requirements) To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements: Option 1 Associate Degree in Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Power Generation Technology, or a closely related technical field AND Minimum 4 years of related industry experience Including at least 2 years working with electrical or motion control systems Option 2 Minimum 6 years of directly related experience Including at least 3 years working with electrical or motion control systems Candidates Must Also Have Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs Experience programming and troubleshooting HMI systems Strong knowledge of: PLC Controls Electronic Engine Controls Pneumatic Control Systems Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment including multimeters and pressure calibrators Excellent mechanical aptitude Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional communication skills Valid driver's license Travel Requirements This is a field-based position requiring up to 75% travel . Candidates must be willing and able to travel throughout the United States and internationally , including: Extended travel assignments Weekends Holidays Overnight travel Daily per diem is provided while traveling, along with travel bonus eligibility.
