Technician Certification HVAC Certification Mechanical knowledge Service technician experience Full Job Description Job Overview As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and light industrial settings. Duties- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Follow blueprints or other design specifications to install HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes
- Looking for seasoned HVAC Service Technician
- Refrigeration license required
- Union affiliation preferred, but not required. Skills
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Mechanical knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs on RTU's, AHU, boilers, chillers and all other HVAC refrigeration systems.
- Understanding of refrigeration principles
- Welding skills a plus, not required
