Job Description Position Summary:
The HVAC-R Refrigeration Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC and refrigeration systems and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues in commercial, and industrial refrigeration units using testing tools and technical schematics. Performs preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, component replacement, refrigerant checks, and system calibration. Documents and records service activities. Ensures compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and proper handling of refrigerants in accordance with applicable codes.

Human Resources Troubleshooting & Repair:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues in commercial, industrial, or residential refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
Preventative Maintenance:
Execute routine preventative maintenance schedules, including cleaning, component replacement, refrigerant checks, and system calibration to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Service:
Engage with customers in a professional manner, addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing a positive service experience.
Documentation & Invoicing:
Maintain accurate service records and documentation; prepare and process invoices efficiently for completed work.
Vehicle & Tool Stewardship:
Keep the assigned work vehicle clean, organized, and adequately stocked with inventory; maintain personal tools in good working order and utilize company-provided specialty tools appropriately.
Project Support & Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with team members; provide "install assist" support on major projects; participate in ongoing professional development and training.
On-Call Participation:
Maintain availability for the rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency service requests as assigned.
Administrative Compliance:
Complete all paperwork, including time sheets and service reports, in accordance with company policy and applicable safety/environmental codes. All other duties as assigned. Place of Work On-site Requisition
