Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work on various projects and ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in residential or commercial properties. Document all service calls, repairs made, and parts used for future reference. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installations. Experience in appliance repair and general maintenance tasks. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to perform welding tasks as required for specific repairs or installations. Valid driver's license is required for field service responsibilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
