Having expanded into 2 new locations this year with continued growth ahead, we're hiring a Lead HVAC Installer to lead job sites, deliver top-quality installations, and mentor our growing crew across Central and Western NY. 15 years of local roots, zero corporate fluff, and leadership that has your back Responsibilities Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to schematics and design specifications. Diagnose any faults with newly installed equipment, to include use of: Multimeter, Refrigeration Tools and Combustion Analyzer. Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate precise installations and repairs. Collaborate with project manager as well as customers to provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Mentor apprentices or junior technicians on best practices for HVAC system installation, repair techniques, safety protocols, and equipment troubleshooting. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Must possess Residential Lead Installation Experience. Must possess 3-5 years of Residential Install Experience Must have a clean drivers license Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems including electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, plumbing connections. Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals; familiar with HVAC design principles. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R equipment repair, installation procedures, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems maintenance. Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting. Knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerants; valid EPA certification preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Takes ownership of vehicles and tools assigned, making sure they are clean and well maintained. To quote Queen, "Is this real life, or is this just fantasy?
