Competitive- Based on experience, license classification, responsibilities, and level of involvement About Us Aire Serv of Sugar Land / Richmond / Rosenberg is a growing locally owned heating and air conditioning company serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Fort Bend County area.
- Serve as the company's Texas licensed Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractor.
- Maintain an active and current Texas HVAC contractor license.
- Ensure company HVAC operations are conducted in accordance with applicable TDLR requirements, codes, and regulations.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to HVAC service technicians and installers.
- Assist management with HVAC compliance and industry best practices.
- Help establish and maintain professional service and installation standards.
- Support technician development, training, and troubleshooting when needed.
- Review technical issues or complex HVAC installations when appropriate.
- Assist with permitting, inspections, and code-compliance matters as required.
- Work with ownership and management to help grow a strong HVAC service organization.
- Promote a culture of quality workmanship, professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service. Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractor License issued by TDLR.
- License must be in good standing.
- Must be legally eligible and willing to associate the license with our company in accordance with Texas requirements.
- Significant residential and/or light commercial HVAC experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Texas mechanical codes and HVAC regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused. Preferred Qualifications
- Texas Class A Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractor License preferred.
- Appropriate environmental air conditioning endorsement preferred.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification preferred and required if personally performing work for which federal certification is required.
- Previous experience supervising or managing HVAC technicians.
- Experience with residential HVAC replacement and installation.
- Experience helping grow or manage an HVAC service company.
- Familiarity with permitting and inspection requirements in Fort Bend County and surrounding municipalities.
