The Role:
The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of HVAC systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.
What You'll Do:
Thorough knowledge and experience of HVAC system installs in commercial construction environments Ability to fabricate and install duct work Ability to set and hook up equipment Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
You Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational school or prior training preferred. Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
