We are seeking an experienced full-time second-shift industrial maintenance electrician/ mechanic for the afternoon shift at our South Holland, Illinois facility. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of maintenance within a manufacturing environment. We provide excellent benefits and significant bonus opportunities.

Electrical Skills:

Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems associated with motors, starters, sensors, switches, wiring, fuses, PLCs, AC/ DC drives, and electrical panels.

Mechanical Skills:

Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints and schematics. Demonstrated experience and ability to repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, valves, cylinders, pumps, and conveyors. Ability to operate machines and hand tools. Ability to fabricate and weld using gas and ARC equipment is preferred. Experience repairing and maintaining overhead cranes preferred.

Qualifications:

At least two (2) years of Industrial Electrician experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A solid mechanical background. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently. Must be willing to work the second shift, from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
