Job Description
Industrial Mechanics - Three (3) permanent full-time positions at Louisiana Sugar Cane Cooperative Inc. (LASUCA) in St. Martinville, LA. Installation and scheduling of maintenance for state-of-the-art sugar factory machinery. Selects the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work. Assistance of staff in maintenance procedures. Works with other machinists/industrial mechanics in maintaining and repairing all equipment. Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines. Two (2) years' experience in sugar industry in job offered is required. No minimum education level is required. No training is required, and no training is offered for the position. There is no requirement that the employee must live on the employer's premises, and this is not an option for the permanent role. 40hrs/wk. Overtime hours will vary and are not guaranteed.
