First State Inc We are a small Builder and Property Management Company located in New Castle Delaware serving New Castle County and Delaware County PA We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Property Caretaker / Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position involves maintaining rental properties, light lawn and landscaping duties, assisting with renovation projects, and supporting new construction work. Pay & Benefits Starting rate $22.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Overtime opportunities available Full time or Part time position available up to a 4-day work week available 40 hours (10-hour shifts) Monday thru Thursday off on Friday, Sat and Sun Paid vacation time Responsibilities General maintenance and upkeep of rental properties Assist with renovation and new construction projects Lawn care and landscape maintenance Painting and touch-up work Light Plumbing repairs Light Electrical repairs Light carpentry and repairs Drywall patching and repairs Respond to maintenance requests and property issues Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Preferred Qualifications Must have a Positive Attitude and Team Player a must Experience in property maintenance, construction, or related trades Knowledge of basic plumbing repairs Knowledge of basic electrical repairs Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Must have a Clean and Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must have your own basic tools for maintenance and repairs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail a plus We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and enjoys a variety of hands-on projects.
