Black Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment - Waterloo & Cedar Falls, IA Black Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a motivated Equipment Yard Attendant to join our team! This role supports a diverse customer base including homeowners, construction professionals, agricultural operations, commercial businesses, industrial clients, and municipalities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the equipment industry, with advancement opportunities into roles such as Mechanic, Delivery Driver, or Rental Coordinator . We currently have full-time and part-time openings at both of our locations. Key Responsibilities Load and unload rental equipment safely and efficiently Inspect and document equipment before and after rentals Perform light maintenance and basic repairs Clean, organize, and maintain equipment and yard Prepare new equipment for resale Assist with general grounds maintenance Qualifications Positive, outgoing personality with strong customer interaction skills Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively across departments (Parts, Service, Sales, Rental) Equipment knowledge or experience in landscaping or construction is a plus Understanding of equipment operation and applications preferred Professional appearance required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

Valid driver's license Must meet Company Driver Policy and pass annual motor vehicle checks To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
