Are you the person your friends call when they need help moving furniture or fixing a leaky faucet? We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant who is ready to jump-start a career in the trades. You don't need a background in HVAC or electrical work; you just need a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty. We will provide the tools and the training—you provide the effort. What Your Day Will Look Like You'll be the "right hand" to our Lead Technician, helping keep our facility running smoothly.
Tasks will include:
Preventative Maintenance:
Learning to perform routine checks on machinery and facility equipment.
General Repairs:
Assisting with basic plumbing, painting, lighting, and drywall repairs.
Safety & Grounds:
Ensuring walkways are clear, exits are accessible, and the shop stays safe for everyone.
Tool Management:
Keeping the workshop organized and ensuring all tools are cleaned and accounted for.
Problem Solving:
Helping troubleshoot why a machine isn't running or why a door won't latch. What We're Looking For A "Fixer"
Mentality:
You're naturally curious and like solving physical puzzles.
Reliability:
Our facility relies on the maintenance team. Being on time isn't a suggestion; it's a requirement.
Safety First:
You can follow instructions carefully and respect the power of heavy machinery and electricity.
Physical Ability:
You are comfortable on ladders, in tight spaces, and can lift [50] lbs.
Ownership:
You take pride in your work, even the small jobs like painting a wall or sweeping a bay.
