In this vital role, you will support the maintenance, repair, and ongoing care of building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment. Your hands-on skills, mechanical knowledge, and commitment to quality will help keep our facilities operating smoothly and efficiently. Duties Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components. Support repairs on electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Perform carpentry tasks including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and other building interior upkeep. Use hand tools and power tools safely to conduct plumbing repairs, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments as needed. Maintain facilities equipment by performing scheduled maintenance on HVAC units, plumbing systems, and electrical panels. Assist with welding tasks for minor structural repairs or equipment fixes requiring metal fabrication. Follow safety protocols while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment, or during HVAC system repair activities. Support the team in maintaining accurate schematics, maintenance logs, and repair documentation for all facilities equipment. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support and ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and facility equipment maintenance. Skilled in carpentry tasks including residential painting and general building interior upkeep. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for various residential or commercial setups. Excellent communication skills in English to understand technical instructions and collaborate with team members. Leadership qualities with the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while supporting team efforts.
