Tasca Automotive Group - Arlington Heights is looking for a high-performing Service Manager with prior Ford experience to join our successful team! You will be working directly with executive leadership and have knowledge of inventory and cost controls. Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value to our community. EOE Responsibilities Forecast goals and objectives for the departmentHire, train, motivate and monitor the performance of service department staffMonitor and control performance of department using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveysPrepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service departmentMaintain reporting systems required by upper management and the factoryDevelop and execute a marketing plan to promote new and repeat businessEstablish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral businessAttend managers meetingsFacilitate and/or conduct technical training and/or send employees to related training schools and webinars, as neededEstablish and maintain good working relationships with vocational/technical schools to enhance personnel recruitmentMonitor technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll recordsMonitor and follow up with parts manager on parts orders to ensure availabilityTake ownership of the customer's experience and provide concierge support for all owner's inquiriesRemain up to date on federal, state and local regulations that affect operations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc.

Maintain a safe work environmentKeep up to date on new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases for departmentEnsure proper care, storage and inventory of special toolsServe as liaison with factory representativesEstablish and maintain 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with service experienceHandles customer complaintsMaintain CSI at or above region
