Grain Superintendent — Top Ag Cooperative Okawville, IL (with oversight of multiple other locations)

Pay:

Range $65,000 - $80,000 annually Full-Time | Exempt About the Role Top Ag Cooperative is looking for a Grain Superintendent to lead daily operations across multiple grain locations. You'll oversee grain inventory, quality, equipment, and facility operations — while training, leading, and holding a team of hourly employees accountable to the highest standards of safety and performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and genuinely cares about doing right by our farmer-owners. What You'll Do Lead and coach operations staff — setting clear expectations, providing training, and holding the team accountable Champion a culture of safety: ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT and internal safety standards Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of grain facilities and equipment Support grain quality control, inventory accuracy, and efficient truck/rail loading operations Ensure responsive, high-quality service to our farmer owners What You Bring Associate's degree in Ag Business, Ag Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of leadership experience Strong mechanical/maintenance aptitude and comfort troubleshooting equipment Clear communicator who can lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable Valid driver's license Willingness to work weekends, seasonal hours, and overtime as needed Why Top Ag?
