About the Opportunity Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations for a manufacturing environment in Ayer, Massachusetts. This hands-on leadership position will oversee plant engineering and maintenance programs, capital projects, equipment reliability, and facility improvements while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams to support safe and efficient plant operations. Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through implementation and completion. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, CMMS , work orders, spare parts, and equipment reliability. Develop engineering solutions to improve production efficiency, equipment performance, quality, and workplace safety. Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams on equipment installations and facility projects. Manage department budgets, contractors, service providers, and third-party vendors. Lead equipment startups, commissioning, qualifications, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) . Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the facility. Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering and maintenance team members. Support compliance with applicable GMP, food safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements . Provide occasional on-call support and maintain operational continuity as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering , or a related engineering field. 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering, maintenance, or facilities teams. Demonstrated experience managing CAPEX projects, preventive maintenance, CMMS, and equipment reliability programs . Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide occasional on-call support.
