Rite Rug has been one of the top flooring companies for over 90 years! We are looking for an Installation Manager to join our growing team! $45,000 to $50,000 a year. Salary based on experience. Position Summary The Installation Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day installation operation, including installers, scheduling, job readiness, customer communication, and subcontractor relationships. This position ensures installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule while providing a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily work for installation crews based on their skills, availability, and workload. Review work orders, drawings, layouts, materials, and installation requirements with installers before they leave for the day. Communicate daily and next-day schedules with installers and the warehouse. Monitor completed and outstanding work and address scheduling or installation issues as they arise. Maintain the installation schedule approximately one week in advance and adjust it as needed to balance workloads. Review installer paperwork and pay sheets and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with onboarding and setup of new subcontractors. Maintain strong working relationships with installers and subcontractors and assist with recruiting when additional installers are needed. Communicate with homeowners regarding installation timing, arrival estimates, and installation-related questions. Work closely with sales, office, warehouse, and field personnel to resolve issues and keep installations moving. Address installation and customer issues with a sense of urgency and ensure problems are followed through to resolution. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in flooring, construction, installation, or a related field. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and make decisions. Strong customer service skills. Comfortable working with subcontractors and field personnel.
