Job Description

Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations across residential and commercial properties. This role provides hands-on support, supervises maintenance staff, ensures quality workmanship, and helps maintain safe, attractive, and well-functioning buildings and grounds.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and direct maintenance team members across assigned properties.
  • Assign, monitor, and follow up on service requests and maintenance projects to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
  • Perform or assist with repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and general property upkeep.
  • Maintain company standards for professionalism, cleanliness, safety, workmanship, and customer service.
  • Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians on procedures, technical tasks, and performance expectations.
  • Ensure proper use of safety equipment and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Support property appearance by addressing building, grounds, debris, snow, and maintenance needs.
  • Provide input on property improvements, staffing decisions, performance feedback, and appraisals as requested.
  • Travel to assigned properties and complete special projects or other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Prior supervisory experience in facilities maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or a related field.
  • Relevant education, training, or equivalent work experience; associate degree preferred.
  • Current applicable certifications or licenses preferred, such as
HVAC, EPA
Universal, Boiler License, or Pool Certification.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, vehicle insurance, and personal hand tools.
  • Ability to use electronic work order systems and organize, prioritize, and complete tasks independently.
  • Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, accountability, and customer service skills.
  • Positive, professional, can-do approach with the ability to support a diverse team and resident population.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions customary to the location.
  • Lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Walk properties daily; bend, stretch, stoop, lift, reach, and perform snow removal where applicable.
  • Use near and far vision, depth perception, and verbal communication to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Maintain safe work practices at all times; working safely is a condition of employment.
Total Compensation:

$55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
