Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of all mechanical systems within our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex mechanical systems, manage maintenance projects, and uphold safety standards while fostering a proactive maintenance culture. Duties:

The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor operates as a supervisor of the Mechanical Maintenance Team and performs mechanical maintenance preventive and breakdown, mechanical maintenance within the facilities and on a Shalag US world class carding nonwoven production line. This position operates as an integral member of the Operations group in supporting the production operations of the plant as well as the plant infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures all mechanical Preventive maintenance orders are assigned and completed in allotted time.
• Ensures proper safety rules are followed.
• Ensures all work areas and shop housekeeping levels are maintained by all mechanical maintenance associates.
• Ensures all mechanical maintenance team members are on task and complete work in timely manner.
• Provide advanced skilled mechanical maintenance support to all areas of Production and Facilities.
• Maintains mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components, including but not limited to pumps, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, belts, chains, bearings, sprockets and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, determine equipment malfunctions, and apply skills to restore and repair to operation.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with Company safety procedures and in line with OSHA standards.
• Advise Operators and mechanical maintenance associates of safe operations.
• Communicate potential problems and/or inherent dangers to appropriate supervisors, managers, or team leaders.
• Supervise and assist other contract personnel as assigned.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Adhere to all Shalag and other legal HSE requirements.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely
• Be able to push, pull, and roll 50 lbs. fabric
• Ability to climb 6 ft. ladder
• Ability to operate forklift and obtain forklift license
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to operate small power tools

Education:
