Window & Door Service Technician Diamond Head Windows & Doors Location:
O'ahu, Hawai'i |

Full-Time, Non-Exempt Join Our Team Diamond Head Windows & Doors is Hawai'i's largest locally owned window and door company. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, reliable service, and taking care of our customers long after installation is complete. We're looking for an experienced, dependable Window & Door Service Technician to join our O'ahu team. This is a hands-on field position focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing previously installed windows and doors at residential and commercial properties. If you have experience in carpentry, construction, window and door installation, or building maintenance and enjoy figuring out how to fix things the right way, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform service, warranty, and repair work on installed windows and doors Diagnose issues involving alignment, operation, fit, hardware, locks, handles, rollers, seals, and weatherstripping Troubleshoot water intrusion, air infiltration, and other installation or product-related concerns Adjust, repair, or replace components to restore proper operation Complete minor carpentry, trim, framing, caulking, sealing, and finish work Determine the parts, materials, tools, and equipment needed for each service call Read and follow manufacturer specifications and service instructions Document findings, repairs completed, parts used, and recommended follow-up Communicate professionally with customers and explain completed work Coordinate with our office, installation team, and supervisors when additional parts or follow-up work are needed Maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and assigned vehicle Travel to customer homes and jobsites throughout O'ahu Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work area What We're Looking For Previous experience in carpentry, construction, window and door installation, building maintenance, or a related skilled trade Window and door installation or service experience strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Ability to perform minor carpentry, adjustments, sealing, and repair work Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Professional communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and able to manage a daily service schedule Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift and maneuver windows, doors, tools, materials, and equipment Ability to travel throughout O'ahu for assigned service calls Why Diamond Head Windows & Doors? Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
