WheelRenew, a wheel repair company providing services to auto dealerships, is currently seeking a repair and refinish technician to service automotive dealerships. The technician must be able to repair refinish alloy wheels using automotive refinish paints. Being a person that is technical and "hands on" is helpful. The Salary range relates to base salary. Commissions are available. The income potential is not limited and the right person can earn well over $50,000/year through commissions.

Qualifications:

Wheel painting experience or automotive painting experience 2 year or more is preferred; Experience working in or with car dealerships is helpful; Must have good eye sight or corrected vision and be mechanically inclined; Good organizational skill and strong customer service skills are required; Must possess a valid driver's license for state of residence and have an excellent driving record required. A background check is included.

Responsibilities include:

Inspect Used Car inventory for damaged wheels; Inspect customer vehicles in the Service Drive for damaged wheels Be able to remove wheels from vehicles You will be taught how to clean, prep and sand damage on alloy wheels using specified equipment and products. Use the WheelReady paints supplied which are pre-matched in order to paint wheels and then clear coat the wheels. Be able to communicate with different department managers in the auto dealership Physical responsibilities include: Must be physically able to be able to remove wheels, lift, sand and paint the wheels. Must be able to sit, kneel, crouch and bend frequently; Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must have a good Motor Vehicle Driving Record. Health Insurance Provided.
