We are a custom cabinetry and millwork shop serving the Athens and surrounding Northeast Georgia area. We have an ongoing need for dependable installers and small installation crews who can help with the delivery and installation of semi-custom cabinetry, custom cabinetry, built-ins, vanities, mantels, shelving, and architectural millwork . This is a contract opportunity best suited for an experienced cabinet installer, finish carpenter, trim carpenter, or small installation crew looking for consistent project-based work. Responsibilities Install semi-custom and custom cabinetry Install built-ins, vanities, floating shelves, mantels, and architectural millwork Review cabinet layouts, shop drawings, measurements, and project specifications Level, shim, scribe, fasten, and adjust cabinetry accurately on-site Install fillers, finished panels, toe kicks, trim, doors, drawer fronts, and hardware Make clean and accurate field adjustments when required Assist with loading, unloading, and handling finished cabinetry and millwork Protect cabinetry, flooring, walls, and surrounding jobsite areas during installation Maintain a clean and professional jobsite Communicate clearly with our shop team, builders, designers, and homeowners Complete projects according to the agreed scope and schedule What We're Looking For Previous experience installing cabinetry, millwork, trim, or finish carpentry Strong understanding of cabinet installation methods Ability to read cabinet drawings, layouts, measurements, and specifications Ability to accurately level, scribe, align, and adjust cabinetry Own basic cabinet installation tools Dependable transportation Strong attention to detail Professional and reliable communication Ability to work independently or with a small crew Ability to safely lift and move cabinets, panels, and related materials Pride in producing clean, precise, high-quality work Preferred Experience Semi-custom kitchen cabinet installation High-end custom cabinetry Built-ins and architectural millwork Crown molding and finished trim Cabinet hardware and specialty installation systems Residential new construction and remodeling Delivery or box truck experience Compensation This is an independent contractor / project-based position . Compensation is paid by the job and will vary depending on the size, complexity, location, and scope of each project. We are looking to build long-term relationships with reliable installers and installation crews who are available for ongoing cabinetry and millwork projects.
