We are a custom cabinetry and millwork shop serving the Athens, Georgia area. We have our own box truck and an ongoing need for skilled installers who can assist with the delivery, unloading, and installation of high-quality cabinetry, built-ins, vanities, mantels, shelving, and custom architectural woodwork. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced cabinet installer, finish carpenter, trim carpenter, or small installation crew seeking consistent, project-based work. Responsibilities Install custom cabinetry, built-ins, vanities, floating shelves, mantels, and millwork Load, unload, transport, and handle finished cabinetry with care Review shop drawings, measurements, and layouts before and during installation Level, shim, scribe, fasten, adjust, and finish cabinetry accurately on-site Install fillers, finished panels, trim, toe kicks, hardware, doors, and drawer fronts Complete clean and accurate field adjustments when necessary Protect cabinetry, flooring, walls, and surrounding jobsite areas Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Communicate clearly with our shop team, builders, designers, and homeowners Complete projects according to the agreed-upon scope and schedule Ideal Candidate Has experience with cabinet installation, finish carpentry, trim carpentry, or millwork Can work independently or as part of a small installation crew Has their own basic cabinet-installation tools Can read drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation specifications Takes pride in clean, precise, high-quality workmanship Is dependable, professional, and responsive Can safely lift and move cabinets, panels, and other materials Has reliable transportation Box truck and delivery experience is helpful but not required Compensation This is an independent contract position paid by the job. Compensation will vary based on the size, scope, location, and complexity of each project.
