In this vital role, you will operate and program a variety of CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of complex parts used in critical aerospace and defense applications, ensuring safety, reliability, and excellence. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines such as milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and other industrial equipment to produce aerospace-grade components. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate machining processes. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances in accordance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling materials responsibly. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, materials handling, tooling setup, and packaging of finished parts. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming software with experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and press brake machines. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation for accurate machining. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while adhering to quality control standards. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and fabrication processes. Experience with shop math, factory operations, warehouse procedures, and materials handling. Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for dimensional measurements. Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments along with factory experience in aerospace or defense sectors preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using GD&T principles; experience with CAD software is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for tooling adjustments and quality checks; familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting is advantageous. Join us in shaping the future of aerospace technology!
