Job Description

Job Description/Purpose:
A CNC Programmer is vital to the success of the Profit Center (PC) team, to produce parts on time for our customers. The cnc operator programs and sets up multiple cnc routers producing a variety of parts with various plastic materials. The cnc operator will be required to inspect for quality dimensionally and aesthetics. You are required to program from customer supplied drawings ( dxf, dwg) as well as creating a drawing from scratch or a model.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs daily programming and operation of cnc routers.
  • Safely and effectively operates the equipment: Thermwood and Laguna routers.
  • Program using Fusion 360 programming software - G-code experience a plus!
  • Works with the department supervisor to set a production schedule to make sure we are completing jobs by due dates required, program parts via cad in advance of running the job.
  • Records finished goods produced
  • Post processing of parts as required
  • Other duties as required.
