August 3, 2026 : Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level operator for the 2nd shift in Oceanside, CA. The ideal candidate will have some experience with loading and unloading machines. While setup or programming experience is not required, familiarity with mills (Haas) or 3-axis machines is a plus. Responsibilities Lay out metal and nonmetal stock, and set up and operate chemical, manual, and/or CNC multi-axis machining centers and tools for milling, drilling, grinding, or turning operations. Collaborate directly with engineering to assist in developing machine and/or tank setup programming, including proofing of programs. Identify and evaluate patterns, determining the method to remove material to meet customer specifications before material removal. Load and unload etch fixtures using a forklift. Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to company and customer specifications and procedures. Must be able to pass the OAP exam. Accurately and legibly record all operating parameters in parts manufacturing notebooks, routing sheets, resident paper, or department documentation to ensure the completion of work-in-process, inventories, schedules, labor expenditures, etc. Maintain a clean work environment, including assigned storage and cleaning duties, in full compliance with company standards, customer, and government regulations. Assist in developing and maintaining a business culture that supports the company's overall business objectives and goals by providing leadership in issues involving cost, quality, process, schedule, and people. Ensure the company's commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and protecting the environment through the establishment and support of company policy and adherence to various government regulations. Fully comply with the "Company Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" in all areas of responsibility involving direct and indirect contracting with the United States Government. Ensure subordinate staff is aware of the policy and their individual responsibility and accountability for complying with it. Perform daily preventative maintenance of equipment according to a predefined schedule. Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of technical school or college training in machine tool technology is highly desired. Shift Details 2nd shift position.
