Additional duties include operating a bandsaw for material cutting, a part washing machine for cleaning components, and a lapping machine for surface finishing. The role requires performing quality checks, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Main Responsibilities CNC Machine Setup and Operation Set up and adjust CNC lathes according to work orders, setup sheets, and machining requirements. Install tooling, tool holders, chucks, and work holding equipment and perform tool touch-offs. Run production parts and monitor machine performance during operation. Make offset corrections to maintain dimensional tolerances and surface quality. Update setup sheets and ensure production programs are properly saved and documented. Assist in optimizing machining processes together with the CNC Programmer. Create programs or program adjustments as necessary. Cut raw materials according to specifications and drawings using the band saw. Select and change saw blades based on material requirements. Prepare materials and components required for machining operations. Assist with identifying machining processes and tooling requirements when introducing new parts. Perform inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Document inspection results and maintain accurate production records. Clean machined parts according to quality standards using the parts washer. Operate the lapping machine to achieve required dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines, bandsaws, lapping machines, and washing equipment. Provide input for process improvement initiatives including 6S and workflow optimization. Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment including but not limited to: Forklifts Pneumatic tools Hydraulic clamp stations Jib and bridge cranes Hand tools (wrenches, punches, etc.) General Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area according to 6S standards. Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures. Work overtime when necessary to meet production and customer delivery requirements. Maintain compliance with all company safety and quality regulations. Experience operating and setting up CNC machines (lathe experience preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Knowledge of basic mathematics and geometry. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Additional duties as assigned.

Pay:

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
