Job Description

Our client, a precision manufacturing company specializing in complex CNC machining, is looking for a CNC Machine Set Up Technician to join their team in Camarillo, CA. In this role, you will support the machine shop manager and programmers in setting up and running jobs on advanced HAAS and Matsuura machining centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and machine castings and hog outs using vertical and horizontal mills Assist in setting up and running jobs on 5-axis, pallet-changing HAAS and Matsuura machining centers (10 mills, 1 lathe) Work closely with the QC department to ensure parts meet customer specifications Read and interpret GD&T call-outs and requirements Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information Maintain strong organizational standards throughout the machining process Program, design, and build fixtures as needed (preferred) Operate lathes as needed (a plus)
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic computer knowledge Programming knowledge of
HAAS CNC
machines is a plus Experience with CAM software is a plus Experience designing and creating fixtures is a plus Experience with AS9100 is a plus Bilingual ability is a plus

Pay:
$25-$30/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 6:30 AM-3:00
PM Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
