Calgon Carbon Corporation Careers seeks a CNC Plasma Table Programmer to support our Manufacturing & Production team. You will program and optimize CNC plasma cutting operations to produce high quality metal components, interpreting blueprints, creating nests, and selecting tooling and parameters for safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include editing G-code, setting up jobs, verifying first-piece quality, and collaborating with operators, maintenance, and engineering on continuous improvement. Responsibilities Program and optimize CNC plasma table for metal cutting operations Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create accurate part programs Develop nests to maximize material utilization and minimize waste Select cutting parameters, tooling, and processes for quality and efficiency Set up and verify jobs, performing first-article inspections and adjustments Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering on process improvements Maintain accurate program files, revision control, and documentation Troubleshoot cutting quality, dimensional, and machine performance issues Apply and uphold strict safety, quality, and housekeeping standards Support continuous improvement, lean, and 5 S initiatives in manufacturing Required Skills CNC plasma programming G-code programming CAD/CAM software (e.g., Auto CAD, Solid Works, Sigma NEST) Blueprint and technical drawing reading Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Material nesting and optimization CNC machine setup and operation Quality inspection and measurement tools Basic mechanical troubleshooting Shop math and measurement
