Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Assembly Intern to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical components, supporting the production of high-quality hardware products. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly of electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate component placement and wiring. Support PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly processes, including soldering and inspection according to IPC 610 standards. Help build electrical panels by following detailed wiring diagrams and schematics while adhering to safety protocols. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical connections and troubleshoot basic issues with electro-mechanical components. Participate in mechanical assembly tasks, including machining and fitting parts as specified in engineering drawings. Collaborate with engineering teams during troubleshooting efforts to identify issues with electrical or mechanical assemblies. Skills Knowledge of PCB design concepts, schematics reading, and interpretation of electrical blueprints. Experience with electronics assembly techniques such as soldering (including surface mount technology), wiring, and component placement. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment used in hardware assembly. Ability to read electrical schematics and follow blueprint specifications accurately. Understanding of electrical wiring standards, electro-mechanical components, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Basic troubleshooting skills using multimeters or ohmmeters to diagnose circuit issues. Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to learning new technical skills in manufacturing environments.
