POSITION SUMMARY
The NPI Assembler II performs electronic assembly of components, subassemblies, and chassis in support of new product introduction and production goals. This role ensures products are built to quality and performance standards while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities and assembly activities may change daily.RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or re-assemble units Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner Understands and follows all safety requirements Understands and follows ISO practices and procedures Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance May assist with training other AE employees in established processesWORK ENVIRONMENT

manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipment Overtime (OT) may be required in times of increased production or service repairsQUALIFICATIONS
: Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions Ability to recognize nonconformities required Soldering skills preferred Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills Component identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation required Basic PC knowledge Knowledge of SAP preferred Ability to effectively work in a team environment Models positive and professional work ethics Considers the impact to quality when making decisionsEXPERIENCE
Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment Knowledge and understanding of ESD practicesEDUCATION
High School Diploma or EquivalentCOMPENSATION
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $22 to $27 per hour.BENEFITS
