We're looking for a Knife Finishing Technician to join our Hafting Department, where you'll help transform knives into finished products through sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailed quality inspection. What You'll Do As a Knife Finishing Technician, you'll help shape, smooth, and finish knives to meet quality standards before they move to the next step in production. Key Responsibilities Operate sanding, buffing, and polishing equipment Smooth rough edges and remove scratches or imperfections Shape knife handles and bolsters for a consistent finished appearance Inspect products before, during, and after processing to ensure quality standards are met Change sanding belts, replace buffing wheels, and apply polishing compounds as needed Perform basic equipment upkeep and maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality Follow work instructions and support quality and engineering initiatives when needed High School Diploma or GED Detail-oriented and quality-focused Dependable with strong attendance Comfortable working with their hands Mechanically inclined and eager to learn Adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
