Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible to oversee whole cultivation operations.

Responsible to monitor and adjust Priva and other computer systems. Responsible to oversee labor involved in the cultivation operations.

Identify plant diseases and problems to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings — Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems and report to manager immediately Ensure fertilizers are being mixed correctly by members of his teamProviding guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics
  • Ensure proper mix and application of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation
  • Oversees all duties and activities of assigned team
  • Autonomously work with Sr Cultivation to ensure health of the plants is known
  • Oversee cleaning and service of machinery to ensure operating efficiency, using water, gasoline, lubricants, or hand tools.
  • Supervise GH cleaning post-harvest.
  • Log all application dates and what was applied-spray log
  • Ensure all PPE is properly worn according to the label, and safety SOPs are followed by all members of the team
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain drip and drain report
  • Ensure dosing of microbials and other Venturi applications.
  • Dispersion of beneficial insects.

Education and/or Experience Must be able to read and understand chemical labels Experience in the agricultural application of chemicals including the operation and maintenance of sprayers, floaters and other chemical application equipment is preferred Knowledge of plants, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and beneficial insects Able to operate a forklift At least 1-2 years' experience in a greenhouse environment Ag background preferred Salary $28 - $30 USD per hour
