We're excited to hire a Crop Scout Intern for Summer 2027, where you'll collaborate closely with our customers to deliver top-notch service and valuable insights. The internship can start as early as Spring 2027, depending on business needs and your availability, and extend through the summer. Responsibilities Scout fields to monitor crop health, growth stages, pest pressure, weed presence and disease symptoms. Record and report field observations accurately using company systems or scouting tools. Assist agronomists with crop protection and crop nutrient product recommendations based on field data. Support proper identification of insects, weeds and plant diseases affecting crop performance. Maintain accurate records of scouting routes, findings and follow-up actions. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with growers and CHS staff. Follow all CHS environmental, health and safety guidelines while working in the field. Minimum Qualifications (required) Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program. Proficient with Microsoft Office Software. Additional Qualifications Basic understanding of crop production practices, pests, weeds and diseases. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. CHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
