Job Description

Responsibilities:
Job Summary Oversees and supervises all phases of food production Trains and counsels staff Supervises all activities related to patient meal services, Meals on Wheels and Inspirations Supervises cafeteria services Performs performance improvement activities
Qualifications:
Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Prefer:
Certified Dietary Manager certification or degree in food science/nutrition related field.
Prefer:
one year education in nutrition/food service related field.
Experience Required:
One year food service supervisory experience in a hospital or other facility with a similar size food production service, including training and counseling employees, operating food service equipment and knowledge of basic cooking principles, diets and patient care required (or current NRHS food service employee with minimum of one year food service experience at NRHS). Experience requirement not required for applicants who meet the education requirement (CDM or DTR or related degree) Licensure/Certification Must obtain a food handler's permit from the Cleveland County Health Department before hire or within one week of hire.
