U.S. Person Required (ITAR) Why This Role Exists This role exists to support advanced machining and complex part production at Ichor Systems' Scotts Valley (Larkin) facility, with a focus on aerospace and high-spec manufacturing. In this position, you'll play a key role in setting up and machining complex, tight-tolerance components while helping drive process improvements and mentoring less experienced machinists. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and optimize new and repeat jobs on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines Machine complex components requiring tight tolerances and high precision Interpret detailed engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles Troubleshoot machining issues and implement process improvements Monitor production to ensure quality and consistency Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling and process optimization Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality standards Mentor junior machinists and support team development Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as:

Machines:

3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling centers

Controls:

Fanuc / Haas / Siemens-type environments

Programming:

G-code editing at the machine (CAM exposure a plus)

Inspection Tools:

Micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, calipers Materials You'll Work With Aerospace-grade aluminum Stainless steel High-performance alloys

What We're Looking For Required:
