Job Description

CNC Senior and Principal Level Machinist
  • $2,000 Signing Bonus
  • 2nd and 3rd shift positions
  • $5,000 out of state relocation package/ $2,500 in-state relocation package As a Principal Machinist, you will have the opportunity to utilize mills, lathes, mill-turns, and Swiss machines (among others) to produce close-tolerance parts for our medical products.
A major area of responsibility for this role will be the set-up and operation of a variety of production machinery to produce close-tolerance precision medical device parts, with an emphasis on verifying and validating new set-ups for production and first piece runs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up advanced CNC machinery such as 4 and 5 axis mills, Swiss machines, Lathes with live-tooling, etc. and operate advanced multi-axis CNC equipment, tools, and accessories for the fabrication and cutting of materials to process component parts. Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts at the rates established for a given operation Perform verification/validation of new set-up programs for new product or pre-production parts. Perform in-process and first piece inspection Complete offset adjustments to multi-axis equipment to ensure product conforms to strict tolerance Provides training and technical training to less experienced employees.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2-6 years of experience setting up advanced CNC production equipment. Examples of advanced equipment include Swiss, Lathe, and Milling CNC machines with live tooling. Successful completion of the Senior or Principal Machinist Assessment.
Knowledge Requirements:
Ability to produce parts at maximum rates with zero defects Ability to optimize processes through continuous improvement efforts Must be able to read, understand, and interpret G and M codes. Blueprint reading
Education Requirements:
None This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.

$27.20 - $33.90 per hour
